পোশাক নিয়ে বিতর্কে জড়ানো উরফির কাছে নিত্যনৈমিত্তিক ব্যাপার। বারবারই বিতর্কের কেন্দ্রে এসেছে তাঁর অন্য রকম এবং খোলামেলা পোশাক। এই নিয়ে নেটমাধ্যমে বহু বার কটাক্ষের শিকার হয়েও উরফি জাভেদ বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছেন তিনি দমবার পাত্রী নন। এ বার ফের এক নতুন ফ্যাশন নিয়ে হাজির হলেন ‘বিগ বস ওটিটি’-র খ্যাতনামী।
সম্প্রতি ইনস্টাগ্রামে নীল ব্লেজার পরে একটি ভিডিয়ো এবং কিছু ছবি দিয়েছেন উরফি। তবে সেই ছবিতে ব্লেজার পরার প্রচলিত ধারণা ভেঙে খানখান। ব্লেজারের নীচে নেই ট্রাউজার্স, এমনকি অন্তর্বাসও। শরীরে কেবল প্যান্টি, নীল স্ট্রিং টপ এবং উজ্জ্বল নীল ব্লেজার। উরফির সেই ছবি এবং ভিডিয়ো যথারীতি ঝড়ের গতিতে ভাইরাল। তবে ভক্তরা তাঁকে বাহবা দিলেও ধেয়ে এসেছে কুরুচিকর মন্তব্যও।
